Gaspard Yurkievich has unveiled his new spring-summer ready to wear 2012 collection at the prestigious Grand Hotel, near the Opera.
A peine entré, on découvre toute la splendeur de la salle style baroque. Ici, pas de podium, les mannequins défilent au niveau des invités dans une ambiance intime.
Once inside, we can enjoy how beautiful the hall is ! There is no casual catwalk, people are quite among the models.

J’ai eu un peu de mal à trouver une ouverture pour faire des photos car le lieu n’est pas réellement très adapté, sans parler de l’éclairage au début qui aurait pu rendre les photos quasiment inexploitables. Muni d’un 70-200mm, il n’était pas impossible de réussir à prendre convenablement les photos souhaitées.
I had a little difficulty to find a right angle to shoot as the room wasn’t really suitable to a fashion show. I was at first really scared about the lighting which could have been real nightmare for the photos. Thanks to a 70-200mm lens, nothing is impossible (almost).
